Boat Information

Master Cabin
VIP Cabin
Standard Cabin

Queen Scuba is 28 meter (92ft) vessel, one of the largest & safest live-aboards in the Andaman Sea, She can take up to 19 guest. She was built in the year 2003, and is with no doubt, one of the most comfortable boats operating here in the south of Thailand.

The boat is going in to the third season at the Similan Islands , Richelieu Rock & Surin Island, this boat also has some of the most experienced staff onboard (Dive masters & Instructors). They are very informative, multilingual, and have an enormous appreciation of the word "Entertainment".

The service and standards onboard Queen Scuba are of a very high standard we, have 3 different categories Cabins, with a total of 9 Cabins, we have 3 Standard Cabin (bunk beds) 2 cabins for 2 guest & 1 cabin for 3 guest, we got 5 VIP Cabins “deluxe” (double-beds) for couples, and the luxurious Master Cabin (master-bedroom, with large double-bed).

The Cabins:

The Master Cabin is of course the best of them all, this cabin has plenty of space, and lots of comfort, the has a large King-sized bed, TV + DVD entertainment system, all the newest movies, complimentary fruit basket, nice large en suite bathroom with hot water shower, air conditioning, and a fantastic panoramic ocean view. (Honeymooners, and those wishing for a little something special on their holiday) The VIP Cabins have a large double bed, complimentary fruit basket, large en suite bathroom with hot water, air conditioning, and a nice ocean view. (ideally suited for couples) The Standard Cabins have nice bunk beds, these cabins are all located on the lower deck, but are still light, also with a large en suite bathroom with hot water, air conditioning.(perfect for individual traveler, family or and friends)

Interior onboard

The air conditioned saloon is large enough to seat everyone on the boat, and houses a wide-screen television and DVD entertainment system, and a very large selection of all the newest movies. As well as a full color big screen modern global positioning system. Meals are served buffet style, with fresh breads, we serve both Thai and Western dishes, all this tend to have the days diving juggled around them and there are complimentary snacks, such as fruit, cakes, tea, coffee and soft drinks.

The Dive deck and gear up area

This boat has the largest spacious dive deck of them all, very well designed and this is here most of your time will be spent getting ready for some fantastic diving, No need to move tanks around, all tanks are continuously filled at their stations, the friendly boat crew will help handle the lifting of the tanks. Put your gear together and forget about it. Our two dinghies will transfer you to the dive sites, or we'll jump off the mother ship. Most pick-ups are done with the dinghies for your convenience. Since most of the dives are drift dives, this system is very common practice around the Similan Islands.

The Tour leader on the boat does all dive briefings. They are thorough and very interesting, this helps you to have more knowledge about the underwater world, and to recognize what you're seeing. All the dives are guided if you choose; there will always be a dive master available for you if you want one. If you just wants to dive with a buddy that's ok too.

Our Nitrox System

We realized that Nitrox is the future of diving, this mixture of air, gives you much more bottom time, and is the reason why more and more divers are using this. We have a Enriched Air or Nitrox station on board. And, if you are not yet Nitrox certified, then we offer this course onboard Queen Scuba for your convenience. There are two options a full certification in Nitrox, or introductory dives for those not sure if they will like it or not. And of course we have plenty of normal air available as well.

Electronics and communication

The boat is fitted with all the latest in electronic marine equipment including GPS and radar for safety and ease of navigation. We have VHF radios, and mobile telephone communications equipment.
